About the Girls

I'm Johanna, mom of three extraordinary girls: Analiyse, Josephine and Luna. I am also a licensed master social worker and enjoy helping families connect though improved communication. I love blogging, traveling, sewing, cooking and sharing knowledge. My girls are home-educated and we spend our days together showing the world what girls are made of!

Analiyse is 13 and loves to do experiments, study astronomy, bake and make crafts. Her favorite subject is science. Josephine is 11 and loves to act, do experiments, learn about chemistry and dance. Her favorite subject is science. Luna is 7 and loves to play with legos, learn about animals, play outside and do experiments. Her favorite subject is... science! My super cool son Jonah is 15, but he's decided he's more interested in the girls at public high school than having homeschool adventures with us, so he can make his own blog. Guess what his favorite subject is?

One of the ways these girls like to put their science knowledge to use is by making bath and body products. They can often be found searching for the perfect bath bomb or lip balm recipe. We all love cooking together as well and have recently discovered a new addiction - geocaching!

I created this blog as a space to record our adventures in learning and to review products that we think other girls will love! This blog will be a collaboration between all of us, so look for lots of pictures, reviews and eventually posts by the girls. When we aren't learning at home, we're using the world as a classroom. To share our adventures on the road, visit us at The Dusty Foot Diary!
